Spider-man Michael Keaton as the Vulture

"I sometimes enjoy them because they are basic and simple and go well with popcorn. The problem is that sometimes they purport to be profound, based on some Greek mythological kind of thing. And they are honestly very right wing. I always see them as killing people because they do not believe in what you believe, or they are not being who you want them to be. I hate that, and don’t respond to those characters. They have been poison, this cultural genocide, because the audience is so overexposed to plot and explosions and shit that doesn’t mean nothing about the experience of being human."

I'm trying to figure out how to not sound like an asshole when I say this, but the Sony movie part and Sony electronics parts are almost two different companies. They are on the same family tree, but pretty much unrelated. The movie studio doesn't really have anything to do with the "mother ship" over in Japan, while the consumer products side very much does. At least that's my understanding of it. So the movie production company doesn't much care about the sales of the ps4.

Sony pays for any movies Spider-man headlines in the MCU, and gets to keep all the profit for these, eg. Homecoming. But, they've handled creative control over to Marvel, basically outsourcing the work, meaning they get lots of money by doing little work themselves.Kinda hope that Fox does this eventually. I'd like to see the Fantastic Four with a better treatment, and I wouldn't mind seeing Deadpool cameos in the MCU. Even a Wolverine cameo wouldn't be terrible. Hell, just the right to use the word mutant would be nice.

With how much time in the spotlight Keaton has been getting these past two years from his roles in critically acclaimed films such as Birdman and Spotlight that've won multitudes of awards and raked in 'good' amounts of profit from the box office, it would actually make a lot of sense for Keaton to be payed something similar to RDJ. Keaton's name is now synonymous with good, high quality films.RDJ IS Ironman though. No matter how popular Keaton is right now RDJ has an asking price and you either pay it and get Ironman or you don't pay it all. Keaton is still flexible because regardless of how well he has been doing he still isn't as for sure of a thing as RDJ when compare the roles.
