I really like this necklace. Its very cute, I love the colors, and my 8.5 month old son seems to like it too. It was great when we were flying, gave him something easy to grab and chew on while I was holding him. And the clasp is great for when he's snagged it and yanked too hard. I like the long length, but I like the option to cut the cord and shorten it if needed. I bought both color options and I'm glad I did. I havent been wearing necklaces since my son was born because I didnt want him to break them, but now I can wear something again.I had this necklace for myself and my SIL borrowed it when I visited her recently. Her daughter, who is 7 months, couldn't get enough of it and it eliminated her need to pinch while nursing. My son, who is almost 6 months picks it up and puts it in his mouth every time I'm holding him and will yank at it while nursing. It's perfect!!! I would recommend this for any nursing mother.

I purchased another brand of teething necklace when our first child was teething. That specific necklace was made entirely of the silicone beads and was very uncomfortable to wear because it was constantly pulling my hair. This necklace is awesome! The shape of the beads are great for chewing and the silk cord alleviates the hair pulling issue from my previous necklace.
